Dato Dato is a robotic AI created by Tali. As an AI, Dato's physical body changes but he frequents this form. His eyes are almost always a digital display though, allowing him greater expression (ignoring his unexpressive beak and lack of other movable facial features in his current form).

Dato is impressionable, his exact personality changing often. He grows from an emotionless robot to a free thinking friend. While Tali did not explicitly program any loyalty into him, he tends to act on Tali's opinions and reactions.

He's also a robot pterodactyl. I mean, what more do you want?

DATO PLUSHIE please and thank you. :P Seriously, though, he's awesome and I love him already. I meant to comment on Tali, but while she's being brought up, I'll say yay for tinkerers in hoverchairs! The only other one I can think of, unfortunately, is Alistair Smythe from Spider-Man, and he's, um, not as friendly as Tali seems to be. XD

But yeah, Dato is cool :D

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: That'd be pretty awesome actually! And thank you!

@Pokemontrainergigi: You're welcome! And it would. I don't suppose you have any sewing skills? ;)
Pokemontrainergigi July 24th, 2016, 9:27 pm
@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: I can sew...a little bit. Only enough to fix clothes really, haha.

@Pokemontrainergigi: Well, you're better than me at it. XD My mom insists she needs to teach me to at least sew up holes in clothes, and I'd like to learn, we just keep forgetting.

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: It's a good skill to have! Why throw away your favorite shirt because it has a pin sized hole in it when you can just sew it! :D
ReaderWriterNerd&Geek (Guest) July 26th, 2016, 8:07 pm
@Pokemontrainergigi: Exactly (or, in my case, sigh and fold my favorite shirt up to be stored in the back of a drawer and get wrinkled and dusty just because it has a pin-shaped hole in it XD)! Also, it gives my mom one less chore to do...

What more do I want?
How about... he has a program that allows him to sense emotional changes and assist with soothing emotional spikes?

Wait... What? Okay, I swear a had a toy like this as a child. Like less blue glowing stuff but still really similar. Was that just me? Nobody else had a toy like this?

@AnonymousMe: Google has this little guy: http://www.theoldrobots.com/images76/Pterodactyl-3.JPG

I never had one of those sadly. I had a robot dog for a few years though. I think his name was Boomer?
AnonymousMe February 16th, 2017, 6:32 pm
@Pokemontrainergigi: That's really similar, but not quite right. I'll see if I can find it and post a picture.
