Ante Ante is a pretty chill Peku'Zai assassin. Like Taru he's also super fluffy, he's just got a stealth suit to contain all that fluff (though he tail is too fluffy to be contained, so he'll just dye that if need be). He's a skilled sharpshooter and physically has amazing eyesight. But he can be shortsighted on social matters.

So some fun facts about Peku'Zai now that I've posted two of them! There is very little variation and sexual dimorphism between individual members and the sexes, much to the dismay of others. Females are bigger, and tend to be more aggressive (though it's still possible to have a calm female and a hotheaded male). They're also nearly extinct, with no unified society or culture of their own to speak of.

@Nashew: Much too floof. Must be hard to get dressed in the morning with all that floof.

@Pokemontrainergigi: Things I would never have thought of.
Reconsidering Tabbi's mornings~

It makes me sad that they're almost extinct. They seem like at one point they would have had a fascinating culture. Is there any backstory on how they became such a fractured society? And just how many Peku'Zai assassins are there?

Also, even if my tail was fluffy (assuming I...had a tail...), I wouldn't want it in a suit. Seems uncomfortable. Even if it had its own little sleeve.

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: Much of the backstory is in the black hole of indecisiveness on my worldbuilding (which is the main factor I've done nothing with these guys), but mostly that it happened ages ago (before history was properly recorded). A good guess would be targeted by others based on general mistrust. Claws, fangs, and a carnivore? Probably weren't opposed to eating other sentient races in the past either...

Also current working theory is that it's hard for them to get normal jobs, and they prefer jobs where they move around a lot. So a lot of them would be willing to be mercenaries/assassins/truck drivers/etc!

Yeah, I think the human race has decided if there were tailed sentient humanoids, they probably wouldn't have a sleeve specifically for their tail. Not to mention, I've never seen it done in any media.

@Pokemontrainergigi: Ah, yes, the black hole of indecisiveness, I know it well. Some of my worlds will be keeping yours company there. I hope you don't mind. XD But yeah, that makes sense. I can imagine the goat-people, just for one, wouldn't look at them too fondly.

For some reason, the fact that you lumped truck drivers in with mercenaries and assassins made me giggle. XD But that also makes sense. I tried to think of another occupation that moves around a lot, and all I got was "wandering minstrel". Which I can't imagine a Peku'Zai being, but then again, I've only seen two. Maybe there are those out there who like to sing.

And yeah, it just seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth to try and cram a tail into a sleeve. Although now that you're saying you've never seen it, I feel like I have...but maybe I'm imagining things.

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: I'm sure the black hole of indecisiveness is more populous than the decisive XD Goat people (Capraeths) are vegetarians too.

I said that in both jest and seriousness. =P
Assassin: "I kill people for a living."
Mercenary: "With enough money, I'll kill whoever you want."
Truck driver: "...I'd rather not kill anyone if that's alright with you guys."

Definitely would be Peku'Zai who like to sing! Not really either of these two. I think Ante would be not too good and Taru just wouldn't care enough to try.

I wouldn't doubt someone's done it. Probably would also depend on the tail too.

@Pokemontrainergigi: Most likely. XD I love the name Capreaths, by the way!

Truck driver: "I might lose my job. I know you guys' job IS killing people, but mine is kind of the opposite."

Taru seems kind of like she'd punch you if you tried to get her to sing, lol. But yeah, a Peku'Zai who sings would be awesome. Suddenly I'm imagining a minstrel Peku'Zai whose mother taught him songs in their language to keep something of their culture alive and I should stop writing fanfiction of stories that haven't been completed yet XD

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: Thanks! (it's a combination of earth and capra (the goat genus))

This would make a great sitcom XD

Or even closer, stories that haven't even started yet! XD But thanks for the interest! Really nice to see people liking it before really doing anything!
ReaderWriterNerd&Geek (Guest) July 24th, 2016, 9:45 am
@Pokemontrainergigi: Oh, wow, I missed earth! Lol. I did catch "capra", however, because of Capricorn and capricious, which I learned recently come from "capra". :)

It would. Suddenly I want to make the adventures of the assassin, the mercenary, and the truck driver (I'm no good with catchy names XD).

You're welcome! Thank you for giving us an eye into the creating process :)

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: Ah capricorn! One of my favorite mythological creatures (after dragons of course).

A cross country road trip: the assassin and mercenary constantly fighting over who's better, challenging each other every stop just to prove it. And the truck driver just trying to keep the car on the road and stop them from murdering half the country over their bickering.

No problem! I love questions/discussions like this so I'm very happy to answer them! :D
ReaderWriterNerd&Geek (Guest) July 25th, 2016, 7:45 am
@Pokemontrainergigi: Aren't they cool, though? (Being a Capricorn myself, I may be biased, lol. ;)) It always bugs me when people call Capricorn a goat. I'm like, "It's not a goat! It's a goat-fish-thing." XD

That sounds delightful. With the truck driver constantly muttering snarky comments about the pair of them and they don't even hear because they're too busy fighting.

I enjoy it too! :D
